1. About Our Digital E-Gift Cards

A SEDA ROSE Digital E-Gift Card offers a thoughtful way to contribute towards someone's next meaningful jewellery purchase.

Our gift cards are designed to allow recipients to explore eligible jewellery from SEDA ROSE Jewellers and select something personal to them.

Digital E-Gift Cards are prepaid, electronically issued gift cards redeemable towards eligible purchases from SEDA ROSE Jewellers, subject to these Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

They are not bank deposits, investment products or interest-bearing savings accounts.

These terms apply once SEDA ROSE formally launches its Digital E-Gift Card service.

2. Gift Card Availability

Digital E-Gift Cards are not available for purchase until SEDA ROSE formally announces their launch.

Any gift-card information displayed before launch is provided for general information only.

SEDA ROSE will not accept payment for an E-Gift Card until the necessary payment-processing, issuing, balance-recording and redemption arrangements are operational.

3. Purchasing an E-Gift Card

The proposed minimum Digital E-Gift Card purchase amount is AUD $50.

Gift cards may be purchased in available denominations or approved amounts displayed at checkout.

All gift-card values are expressed in Australian dollars.

The purchase price and any applicable lawful charges will be disclosed before payment.

No additional activation or administration fee will be charged unless expressly permitted by law and disclosed before purchase.

Payment must be successfully processed before a gift card is issued.

SEDA ROSE may decline a transaction for legitimate legal, fraud-prevention, payment-security or operational reasons, subject to applicable law.

4. Electronic Delivery

Digital E-Gift Cards are delivered electronically to the nominated email address.

The purchaser is responsible for checking that the recipient's email address has been entered correctly.

Where available, purchasers may include a personalised message with their gift.

Delivery times may depend on payment verification, email systems and other reasonable processing requirements.

If a card is not received, the purchaser or recipient should contact SEDA ROSE for assistance.

SEDA ROSE will investigate genuine delivery concerns and provide an appropriate remedy where required by law.

5. Gift Card Ownership and Transfer

A Digital E-Gift Card may be purchased for personal use or given to another person as a gift.

Once a gift card has been validly transferred to its intended recipient, the recipient may use the card in accordance with these terms.

A gift card must not be obtained, transferred or used fraudulently.

SEDA ROSE may request reasonable verification of ownership or payment authorisation where lawful.

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by applicable law.

6. Gift Card Validity and Expiry

Unless an applicable legal exception permits a shorter period, SEDA ROSE Digital E-Gift Cards will remain valid for at least three years from their date of issue or the date otherwise required by law.

The applicable expiry date will be clearly disclosed on the gift card or accompanying information.

Any longer validity period expressly offered at purchase will be honoured in accordance with its terms and applicable law.

SEDA ROSE will not impose a post-purchase fee merely because a gift card remains unused.

Any expiry arrangement must comply with Australian gift-card laws and other applicable requirements.

7. Redeeming an E-Gift Card

Digital E-Gift Cards may be redeemed towards eligible jewellery purchases made directly from SEDA ROSE Jewellers.

The cardholder must provide the applicable gift-card code or other approved redemption details.

SEDA ROSE may verify the card's validity and remaining balance before applying it to a purchase.

Gift cards may be used towards eligible ready-made, specially sourced or bespoke jewellery purchases, subject to the relevant purchase terms.

A gift card does not reserve a particular jewellery item or guarantee future availability or pricing.

8. Partial Redemption and Remaining Balances

A Digital E-Gift Card may be used for more than one eligible purchase while a valid balance remains.

Where the value of a purchase is lower than the available gift-card balance, the unused amount will remain available for future eligible purchases until the applicable expiry date.

The remaining balance is not forfeited merely because the gift card is partially redeemed.

Where the purchase price exceeds the available balance, the cardholder may pay the difference using another payment method accepted by SEDA ROSE.

No interest is earned on unused gift-card balances.

9. Gift Card Limit Per Purchase

SEDA ROSE proposes to allow a maximum of one Digital E-Gift Card to be redeemed per jewellery purchase.

This restriction will apply only if confirmed as lawful and enforceable before launch and clearly disclosed to customers before they purchase a gift card.

Where applicable law requires a different redemption arrangement, SEDA ROSE will comply with that law.

SEDA ROSE may permit additional redemption flexibility at its discretion, subject to applicable law.

10. Combining Gift Cards With Other Payment Methods

An eligible Digital E-Gift Card may be combined with an approved direct payment method to complete a jewellery purchase.

If the proposed Bespoke Program is legally approved and launched, SEDA ROSE may also permit eligible gift-card value to be used alongside Bespoke Program credit.

Any combination of prepaid balances must comply with applicable legal, payment-provider and account restrictions.

No combination of payment methods guarantees acceptance of an order before SEDA ROSE confirms the final quotation and purchase arrangements.

11. Purchasing Other Gift Cards

Digital E-Gift Cards cannot ordinarily be used to purchase another SEDA ROSE gift card.

This restriction is intended to maintain accurate prepaid-value records and prevent inappropriate transfers or extensions of prepaid balances.

The restriction is subject to applicable law and must be disclosed before purchase.

12. Gift Cards and the Bespoke Program

SEDA ROSE may introduce a separate Bespoke Program involving prepaid jewellery store credit.

The Bespoke Program is not currently available for customer contributions.

If both services become available, SEDA ROSE proposes a maximum combined unused prepaid value of AUD $50,000 per customer across applicable Bespoke Program credit and gift-card holdings.

This is a proposed internal limit only and does not establish that the arrangement qualifies for any financial-services exemption.

The final rules for identifying gift-card holders, calculating combined balances and preventing circumvention will be determined following legal and operational review.

SEDA ROSE may impose lower limits where required by law or its payment-provider arrangements.

13. Converting Bespoke Credit Into Gift Cards

If legally approved and operationally supported, SEDA ROSE may offer eligible Bespoke Program customers the option to convert some of their available prepaid jewellery credit into a Digital E-Gift Card.

Any conversion would require the customer's express authorisation.

The converted amount would be deducted from the customer's eligible prepaid-credit balance and recorded as the corresponding gift-card value.

No additional credit would be created by the conversion.

Any conversion would be subject to applicable legal requirements, account restrictions and the final Bespoke Program Terms & Conditions.

Conversion is a proposed feature and is not available unless formally introduced by SEDA ROSE.

14. Refunds and Change of Mind

Digital E-Gift Cards are not ordinarily refundable or exchangeable for cash merely because a purchaser or recipient changes their mind.

This does not exclude any right to a refund, repayment or other remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

Where a refund is legally required, SEDA ROSE will provide the remedy required by law.

Nothing in these terms permits SEDA ROSE to retain money where applicable law requires its return.

15. Refunds for Jewellery Purchased With a Gift Card

Jewellery purchased using a Digital E-Gift Card remains subject to applicable consumer guarantees and the relevant purchase agreement.

Where a jewellery purchase is cancelled or refunded, the treatment of the gift-card-funded portion will depend on the applicable legal requirements and circumstances of the transaction.

SEDA ROSE may restore eligible value to a valid gift card where lawful and appropriate.

However, where a customer is legally entitled to a monetary refund or another specific remedy, these terms do not restrict that entitlement.

16. Lost, Deleted or Unauthorised Gift Cards

Customers should keep gift-card codes and redemption details secure.

If a gift card is lost, deleted, misdirected or suspected of unauthorised use, the purchaser or recipient should contact SEDA ROSE promptly.

SEDA ROSE may request reasonable proof of purchase, ownership or identity before investigating or reissuing a card.

Replacement is not automatically guaranteed where a valid card has been used by another person, except where required by law.

Where an unused balance can be reliably verified and a replacement is legally required, SEDA ROSE will provide the appropriate remedy.

SEDA ROSE may deactivate an affected card and issue replacement redemption details where lawful and technically feasible.

17. Fraud Prevention and Payment Verification

SEDA ROSE may undertake reasonable fraud-prevention and payment-verification checks.

Transactions or redemptions may be temporarily delayed where there are genuine grounds to investigate suspected fraud, payment reversal, unauthorised use or material account misuse.

Any restriction must be lawful and proportionate.

SEDA ROSE will not arbitrarily confiscate valid gift-card balances.

Payment disputes, chargebacks and verified errors will be handled in accordance with applicable law and payment-provider requirements.

18. Product Availability and Pricing

A Digital E-Gift Card represents prepaid value towards eligible jewellery purchases.

It does not guarantee the availability of a particular product, gemstone, design or supplier.

Jewellery prices may change before a purchase is confirmed.

For bespoke or specially sourced jewellery, the final price and specifications will be confirmed through the applicable quotation and order-approval process.

The cardholder may apply eligible gift-card value towards the accepted retail price.

No supplier procurement or manufacturing commitment arises merely because a gift card has been purchased.

19. Delivery and Additional Purchase Costs

Gift-card value may be applied towards eligible jewellery purchases in accordance with the disclosed redemption rules.

Any jewellery shipping charges, international duties, taxes or other applicable costs must be disclosed as required by law.

The gift-card purchase itself does not guarantee complimentary delivery of jewellery.

Final delivery arrangements will be confirmed through the relevant jewellery purchase process.

20. No Additional Financial Benefits

Digital E-Gift Cards do not earn interest, dividends, investment returns or automatic cash rewards.

They do not guarantee discounts, preferential supplier prices, increased purchasing power or future appreciation in value.

Any promotional benefit expressly offered with a gift card will be governed by the applicable disclosed promotion terms.

21. Infinite Loyalty Circle

Purchasing a Digital E-Gift Card does not itself count as a qualifying jewellery purchase under the SEDA ROSE Infinite Loyalty Circle.

Where the loyalty rules permit it, an eligible completed jewellery purchase paid using a gift card may count towards the loyalty program.

The gift-card purchase and its subsequent redemption will not both be counted as separate qualifying jewellery purchases.

The Infinite Loyalty Circle is governed by its own Terms & Conditions.

22. Changes to Gift Card Terms

SEDA ROSE may update these terms for future gift-card purchases where legally permitted.

Changes must not unlawfully remove existing cardholder rights, reduce valid balances or retrospectively impose unfair restrictions.

Any material changes affecting existing gift cards must comply with applicable contract and consumer law.

The terms applicable at the time of issue, together with mandatory legal requirements, will determine the cardholder's rights.

23. Business Closure or Service Discontinuation

SEDA ROSE may discontinue the sale of new Digital E-Gift Cards where legally permitted.

Discontinuing new sales does not automatically cancel valid outstanding gift-card obligations.

Existing balances must be handled in accordance with applicable law and the enforceable terms under which the cards were issued.

Unless a legally established protection arrangement has been expressly confirmed, gift-card balances are not represented as being protected by a government guarantee, trust or escrow arrangement.

24. Privacy and Personal Information

SEDA ROSE may collect and use information reasonably necessary to issue gift cards, process payments, deliver electronic cards, maintain balances, prevent fraud and provide customer assistance.

Information will be handled in accordance with the SEDA ROSE Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Recipient information will be used for gift-card delivery and related administration.

Marketing communications are subject to applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.

25. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

SEDA ROSE will comply with applicable Australian gift-card requirements and consumer-protection laws.

Where any provision is inconsistent with a mandatory legal requirement, that legal requirement prevails.

26. Complaints and Disputes

Customers may contact SEDA ROSE regarding gift-card delivery, validity, balances, redemption, payment disputes or suspected unauthorised use.

We may request reasonable information to investigate the concern.

Complaints will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Customers retain the right to contact relevant consumer authorities and pursue other lawful remedies.

27. Relationship With Other Terms

These Terms & Conditions should be read alongside the applicable:

• Infinite Loyalty Circle Terms & Conditions.
• Bespoke Program Terms & Conditions, if formally launched.

Where mandatory law conflicts with a contractual provision, the applicable law prevails.
